Therefore, I would have to try to find a 2017 or older model. Chevy is no longer making the Equinox with a V6 engine in 2018. My Equinox had a V6 engine with AWD, which is the original reason I purchased it. This brought-on the next hurdle that Wally Edgar Chevrolet helped me overcome. After a great deal of deliberation between me and the insurance company, they finally agreed to “total” it. This would mean my vehicle would take a major valuation loss, which I was unwilling to accept. The dealership stuck by their original evaluation, and informed me that if the vehicle was to be repaired the repair cost would exceed 75% of its valuation, and that the State of Michigan would then require a “salvage” title to be issued. At this point I was totally confused and angry. However, after several days, the insurance company decided they were going to “fix” the vehicle. The insurance company first agreed, and provided me with a market valuation of the vehicle. After their evaluation, the dealership said the vehicle should be “totaled” due to the amount of structural damage.

They provided me with a free loaner vehicle, and kept me well informed of all the dealings with the insurance company. This turned out to be a deception! I then took the vehicle to the place I purchased it and trusted, Wally Edgar Chevrolet in Lake Orion, Michigan. They informed me that if I used one of their “certified” repair shops the process would go much faster. I immediately contacted my insurance company, Allstate, to begin the repair process.

Our 2016 Chevy Equinox with only 10,600 miles on it was struck in the rear-end at high speed in a construction zone by a driver not paying attention. I love my new Malibu! I will definitely be back to this location for my next purchase. I would definitely recommend him to my family members and my friends.

Fortunately, Gollings Buick GMC right down the road came to the rescue with excellent and professional customer service. I will NEVER go back to this place again.
The service employee then left for about 10 minutes and came back and said "yup, there's no way we can do your oil change this evening." He said they take their last appointment at 5:30 p.m. My husband mentioned to him that we could wait since we were interested in car shopping as our lease is almost over (and we were leaving for a road trip the next day). not to mention there were about 5 employees sitting around starring at us as we were having this conversation. He said there was no possible way they could do an oil change that evening. The first thing he said to us was "are you leaving your car here over night?" When clearly we had driven there together in one car. and we mentioned to a service employee we were there to get an oil change. on a Thursday (their late day- close at 7 p.m) and was told I could go in for an oil change with no appointment needed. I would really like to give this no stars as it was horrible experience. I just leased an Equinox from Andrea and I am very happy, she helped me find the right car for the right price!
